Mr Onyeka Ewuzie

Mr Onyeka Ewuzie has been in the insurance industry since 2002, cutting his teeth in general insurance, life and health insurance. He moved to Marina Medical HMO in 2011 as Assistant Marketing Manager, and his performance led to his transfer from the Lagos head office to Rivers State as Zonal Manager, Port Harcourt, where he pioneered the company's Port Harcourt Region covering the South-South and South-East states.

He contributed to the progress made in the Obio scheme anchored by Shell Petroleum Development Corporation (SPDC), and played a prominent role in designing the MOU of the Rumukurushi scheme in Rivers State and the Nembe scheme in Bayelsa State.

He ventured into hospital management as Business Development Manager of Save A Life Mission Hospital, becoming General Manager through his performance, where he established a health insurance department with commendable returns on investment. He moved to Oceanic Health Management Ltd in 2018 as Regional Manager, improving service delivery and client retention in the region.

Now National Business Development Manager at Everight, he has transformed the business unit and brought change to traditional marketing dynamics. He holds a Higher National Diploma in Business Administration and Management, attended a course on Assertive Communication Skills for Managers and Team Leaders at SMC Pan-African University, and holds a certification in Effective Public Speaking from the GOTNI Leadership Centre.
