From a three-room apartment in Ojo, Lagos, to an accredited national diagnostic institution. Nine milestones, each one documented.

2005
Dr Everest Okpara starts Everight in a three-room apartment in Ojo, Lagos State. The Lagos office remains the Company's first branch and registered office. Incorporated with the Corporate Affairs Commission, RC No. 623921.
2013
A second branch opens on Assumpta Avenue (Bank Road), Owerri, Imo State, extending the Company into the South-East.
2016
A third branch opens at Owerri Mall to meet the increasing demand of a rising clientele base.
2017
A fourth branch opens in Okigwe, Imo State. In the same year Dr Okpara establishes the Everight Healthcare Foundation.
2019
Everight develops a level-3 biosafety laboratory with molecular capabilities at its Owerri branch — later recognised as the first private laboratory granted special MLSCN approval to offer COVID-19 PCR tests in Nigeria.
2020
The Abuja facility opens with a well-equipped level-3 biosafety laboratory and state-of-the-art medical imaging technology, including 1.5 Tesla MRI and 64-slice CT.
2021
The Abuja facility is named the organisation's headquarters in November 2021. The Company also acquires a permanent office complex for its Ojo, Lagos branch.
2022
The Abuja medical laboratory obtains ISO 15189:2012 accreditation, and is recognised as the first laboratory to achieve ISO 15189 certification in histopathology in Nigeria.
2025
The Abuja medical laboratory obtains ISO 15189:2022 accreditation, the current international standard for medical laboratory quality and competence.
