From a three-room apartment in Ojo to a national diagnostic institution
Everight was founded in 2005 in a three-room apartment in Ojo, Lagos. Twenty years on, it operates across Lagos, Imo State and the FCT.

Everight Diagnostic & Laboratory Services Ltd was started by Dr Everest Okpara in a three-room apartment in Ojo, Lagos State, and incorporated with the Corporate Affairs Commission in 2005 under RC No. 623921. The Lagos office remains the Company's first branch and its registered office.
In 2013 the Company opened a branch on Assumpta Avenue (Bank Road), Owerri, Imo State. To meet the increasing demand of a rising clientele base, third and fourth branches followed at Owerri Mall in 2016 and Okigwe in 2017.
In 2019, Everight developed a level-3 biosafety laboratory with molecular capabilities at its Owerri branch, and was recognised as the first private laboratory to obtain special approval from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria to offer COVID-19 PCR tests in Nigeria.
The Abuja facility was established in 2020 and named the organisation's headquarters in November 2021. Today Everight employs over 450 people and has trained more than 20,000 medical laboratory scientists and technicians, sonologists, radiographers and medical interns.
